Career Planning Meeting of Public Administration Department Students

A meeting was held on November 4, 2025, at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Seminar Hall of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, Department of Public Administration, under the chairmanship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rukiye Mehtap Özlü, with the aim of contributing to the career planning processes of Public Administration students. During the meeting, an appointment was scheduled for a practical CV preparation workshop in collaboration with the Career Research and Application Center. The workshop aims to help students improve their skills in preparing effective résumés, highlighting personal competencies, and standing out in job applications.

In addition, students were informed about online training programs accessible via e-Government, and the importance of actively benefiting from these resources was emphasized.

Finally, the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteer activities were introduced. It was stated that the domestic and international volunteering projects offered by the program significantly contribute to students’ international experience and social awareness.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rukiye Mehtap Özlü emphasized that career planning is shaped not only after graduation but also through the steps taken during university education, inviting students to actively make use of the opportunities provided by the Career Research and Application Center.
